How do I filter content on YouTube?

You can easily apply age-appropriate filters to YouTube content with these simple steps:

Using your DigiFam app…

In the WIFI tab or Mobile tab, select the device for which you want to adjust the YouTube Content Filter*

Select the appropriate ‘YouTube Content Setting‘ for your child’s device:

1-10 (<10 years old)

11-15 (11-15 years old)

+16 (>16 years old)

Click the Save button (checkmark, top right hand corner)

*If you have both DigiFam WiFi (Home or Pro) and DigiFam Mobile, you will need to make sure that you apply the same YouTube setting to your child’s device in both the WIFI tab and in the Mobile tabs

Using your DigiFam Customer Portal…

Select the device for which you want to adjust the YouTube Content Filter*

Select the appropriate ‘YouTube Content Setting‘ for your child’s device:

Restrictive (<10 years old)

Moderate (11-15 years old)

Off (>16 years old)

Your selection will save automatically
